The 2020 Honda Livo 110 BS6 will directly rival Hero Splendor iSmart in India.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has released the first teaser video of 2020 Livo BS6 ahead of its launch in the country. It is expected to be launched in the coming days in BS6 avatar. Recently, the company launched the BS6 version of Grazia 125 scooter in the Indian market. The 2020 Honda Livo 110 BS6 will directly rival Hero Splendor iSmart in India while being more expensive than its BS4 version which is currently priced at Rs 58,775 (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). The styling will be identical but Honda might add a few new features in the bike.

As visible in the teaser video, the 2020 Honda Livo 110 BS6 will carry the same silhouette as the current model. However, as seen with the Grazia recently, the company is expected to add a handful of new features in the motorcycle. The teaser shows the 2020 Livo BS6 gaining an engine kill switch and a new instrument cluster. The digital analogue instrument panel comes in a new pattern with several advanced information guises. The suspension duties are helmed by the traditional telescopic forks at front and twin spring shock absorbers at the rear. As for braking duties, there is a drum brake at the rear and an optional disc at the front. The teaser video comes with the caption, "Life is all about choices that make you stand out”.

Mechanically, the 2020 Honda Livo will be powered by the same 109cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The engine used to develop a top power of 8bhp and peak torque of 9Nm with the BS4 model while mated to a four speed gearbox. The power and torque figures are unlikely to be the same with the BS6 version. As far as price revision is concerned, it is learnt that the motorcycle will be at least Rs 2000-4000 more expensive than the BS4 unit. The company might well also introduce a couple of new color options with the updated motorcycle. The recently launched Honda Grazia 125 BS6 was around Rs 12,000 more pricier than the BS4 iteration of the scooter. More details will emerge in the coming days. Stay tuned!
