With the launch of Creta, Hyundai becomes India’s No 1 SUV brand.

The Coronavirus lockdown might have hampered 2020 Hyundai Creta’s deliveries, but it definitely started off with a good number of bookings. It raked in over 14,000 bookings with more than 50 percent of buyers opting for the diesel variants. In order to demonstrate the 2020 Hyundai Creta’s ability to adopt extensive customization, its off-road accessories have been rendered lately. The virtual modification derives inspiration from various Hyundai off-road concepts. The matte black and gold color combination surely do justice to the new-gen Creta’s unconventional design.

According to the rendered design, the 2020 Hyundai Creta is seen featuring off-road accessories. These include an electric winch, bull-bar, high-profile off-road tyres & custom wheels, a snorkel and a roof-carrier with LED spot-lights.

The modified 2020 Hyundai Creta can surely handle challenging terrain with increased ground clearance. Even though the modification looks meaningful but the Creta’s front-wheel-drive configuration limits the crossover from taking part in some serious off-roading activities.

2020 Hyundai Creta BS6 for India was launched at a starting price of Rs 9.9 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is available with BS6 compliant one diesel and two petrol options, which have been borrowed from Kia Seltos. The petrol variants are powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5 litre MPi engine which delivers 115 bhp and 144 Nm torque. The SUV is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, while a CVT gearbox is offered as optional. The diesel variants source power from a 1.5 litre turbocharged U2 CRDi engine which belts out 115 bhp and 250 Nm torque. It can be availed with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. There is also the high-performance 1.4 litre Kappa T-GDi engine which has a maximum power of 140bhp and peak torque of 242 Nm while linked to a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
