Porsche showcased the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Stuttgart based sports carmaker, Porsche showcased the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. This vehicle is a racing version of the road legal 911 GT2 RS. Porsche will be manufacturing only 200 units of this vehicle.

The 911 GT2 RS Clubsport comes equipped with a huge rear wing at the back, a six-piston aluminium monobloc racing callipers, Recaro racing bucket seat with 6-point safety harness, detachable steering wheel, traction control, ABS, tire pressure monitoring system and Porsche Stability Management (PSM).

The electrical system on this car includes Cosworth ICD with integrated data logger for the instrument cluster, a sports Chrono watch and boost gauge in a vintage finish, Porsche track precision race app, integrated lap timer, an emergency cut-off switch and a leakproof 60Ah lithium-ion battery in the passenger footwell.

To keep the weight down, there have been a maximum usage of Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CRPF) in making the bodyworks of the vehicle which includes roof with removable escape hatch, front bonnet and rear lid with quick release. Powering the race-spec machine is a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine that churns out 690 HP, it comes mated to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. With everything said, the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport is beast on the track.
