Skoda Auto Volkswagen unveiled Superb Facelift at the Auto Expo 2020. The flagship sedan of Skoda is expected to be launched on April 28th. The model was showcased in two variants, namely Sportline and Lauren & Klement. The facelifted Skoda Superb gets a host of exterior and interior changes along with a BS6 powertrain. 2020 Skoda Superb Facelift is expected to be priced between Rs. 27 lakhs - Rs. 31 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Cosmetically, the 2020 Skoda Superb Facelift gets a redesigned front grille along with a new front bumper and chrome accents. It is the first model to adorn full-LED Matrix headlamps. 2020 Skoda Superb Sportline gets a red paint job while the Superb Laurin & Klement varaint comes finished in brown colour.
Interior of the 2020 Skoda Superb Facelift gets its share of changes along with the addition of new features. These include an upgraded touchscreen infotainment system, virtual cockpit instrument cluster, and equipment such as wireless charger.
Under the skin, the facelifted 2020 Skoda Superb uses a 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine that replaces the earlier 1.8-litre TSI petrol motor. The engine produces a maximum power output of 190 bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. With the advent of BSVI emission norms, currently the diesel engine has been discontinued.
