Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new Platina 100 Electric Start (ES) at a price of Rs 53,920 (ex-showroom Delhi) in the Indian market. At such a competitive price, it becomes the most affordable 100cc Electric Start motorcycle in India. The 2021 Bajaj Platina 100 Electric Start comes loaded with Spring-in-Spring suspension to give comfort on longer journeys. The popular bike comes equipped with tubeless tyres, hence by assuring a safe and hassle-free ride for Indian buyers. The all-new Bajaj Platina 100 Electric Start will be sold in two colour options namely Cocktail Wine Red and Ebony Black with Silver decals. From today, the buyers can book the bike at the Bajaj Auto dealerships in India.


Talking about the features, the new Bajaj’s motorcycle comes loaded with an LED DRL headlamp, lending a stylish appearance. Additionally, the long seat will provide comfort for both rider and pillion. There are wide rubber footpads for superior grip. The manufacturer has added all-new rearview mirrors for better visibility for the riders

The new Bajaj Platina 100 ES is powered by 102 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC, air-cooled engine. The bike delivers 5.81 bhp of maximum power output and 8.34Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 4 Speed constant mesh gearbox. Braking responsibilities are handled by 130 mm Drum at the front and 110 mm Drum at the rear with CBS (combi brake system). The fuel tank capacity stands at 11 litres. The all-new Platina can touch a top speed of 90 kmph.
