Ducati has launched the XDiavel range of motorcycles in the country. The XDiavel Dark is priced at Rs 18 lakhs (ex-showroom). While the XDiavel Black Star is retailed at Rs 22.60 lakhs (ex-showroom). Bookings for both bikes are open now across all Ducati dealerships in the country. Also, the deliveries begin from today onwards.
Talking about Ducati XDiavel Dark, it comes with an adjustable 50mm USD fork, PR18/19 radial master cylinder, 2 x 320 mm semi-floating discs, Brembo M4.32 radial mono-bloc calipers, and die-cast wheels in light alloy. It also features full LED headlights.
Ducati XDiavel Black Star, on the other hand, features an adjustable 50 mm USD fork with DLC treatment, PR16/9 radial master cylinder, powerful front brakes with 2 x 320 mm semi-floating discs, and Brembo M50 radial mono-bloc calipers. The bike further gets forged rims painted in gloss black. This reduces the weight of the bike by 2 kgs. In addition, it gets full LED headlights with DRLs and Ducati Multimedia System (DMS).
“The XDiavel range was the result of our efforts to bring two universes together. We wanted to build a bike that offered the comfort of the cruiser and the performance of a sport-focused bike. XDiavel has wowed and attracted a massive following all over the world and offers a wholesome riding experience in an incredibly attractive-looking package. The XDiavel is the perfect supplement to the existing Diavel range yet offers a lot more ‘devil’ both, inside & out. I am delighted that the XDiavel Black Star and XDiavel Dark are finally here as India has a big community of riders who love cruisers, and I am sure they will appreciate a cruiser that serves a unique flavor of comfort and pure, unadulterated performance,” as commented by Bipul Chandra, Managing Director of Ducati India.
Mechanically, both the new versions are powered by twin-cylinder Ducati Testastretta DVT 1262 engine that churns out 159 bhp power at 9500 rpm and 128 Nm peak torque at 5000 rpm.
Both XDiavel Dark and Black Star come equipped with the latest generation electronics package. It further consists of the Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that provides information to the Bosch Cornering ABS after dynamically measuring the roll and pitch angles as well as the speed of the relative set-up variations. For both bikes, the standard equipment list comprises Power Modes, Ducati Traction Control, Riding Modes, full-LED lighting system, Cruise control, 3.5-inch TFT colour display, Cornering ABS, and backlit handlebar switches.
The XDiavel Dark is offered in Dark Stealth with a Carbon Black frame and matt black wheels. The XDiavel Black Star, on the other hand, is available in Dedicated Black Star graphics with gloss black frame and wheel color.
