Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2021 Maestro Edge 125 at a starting price of Rs 72,250 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) in the country. Being available in three trims namely Drum, Disc and Connected, it debuts first-in-segment projector LED headlamp. Though it remains unchanged mechanically with the same engine at the helm. The 2021 Hero Maestro Edge 125 will take on the likes of Honda Activa 125, Yamaha Fascino and TVS Ntorq in the Indian market. Hero MotoCorp had launched the Glamour Xtec Edition a couple of days back in India.
The 2021 Hero Maestro Edge is offered in three variants namely Drum, Disc and Connected at price points of Rs 72,250, Rs 76,500 and Rs 79,750 (All the prices are Ex-Showroom, Delhi), respectively. As far as color options are concerned, the top-end Connected variant is presented in two colors: Prismatic Yellow and Prismatic Purple. On the other hand, the Disc variant can be availed in six paint schemes namely Candy Blazing Red, Panther Black. Pearl Silver White, Matt Techno Blue, Prismatic Yellow and Prismatic Purple. Last but not the least, the Drum grade comes in four exterior color choices in the form of Candy Blazing Red, Panther Black. Pearl Silver White and Matt Techno Blue.
The scooter comes with a sleek LED projector headlamp which is a first-in-class feature. Other exterior highlights include sharper front design, new sporty dual tone stripe pattern and masked winkers. The 2021 Maestro Edge 125 is packed with a plethora of features such as fully digital speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity, Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Miss-call alert, Incoming Call Alert, RTMI(Real-Time Mileage Indication), ECO Indicator, and Low Fuel Indicator. Furthermore, the scooter boasts of Hero Connect as standard which provides the rider a total of eight functions like Topple Alert, Theft Alert, find my parking, track my vehicle, trip analysis and more.
The 2021 Maestro Edge 125 draws power from the same BS6 compliant 124.6cc Programmed Fuel Injection engine with ‘XSens Technology’. The engine delivers maximum power of 9 bhp at 7000 rpm and peak torque of 10.4 Nm at 5500 rpm.
