2021 Hero Xpulse 200T was launched silently in India at a price tag of Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The adventure motorcycle retails in 3 colour options namely Matte Shield Gold, Sports Red and Panther Black. As expected, the bike does not come with any design updates with the highlight being a new BS6 compliant engine. The engine makes the Hero Xpulse 200T compliant with the stringent BS6 emission norms implemented in April 2020. The new bike joins the other Xpluse 200 adventurer tourer and Xtreme 200S faired motorcycle in the 200cc segment in India. 2021 Hero Xplulse 200T rivals are Bajaj Pulsar NS200, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, KTM Duke 200 in the Indian market.
The key features of the 2021 Hero Xpulse 200T include an LED headlamp & taillamp, all-digital instrument cluster, turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth enabled smartphone connectivity amongst others. The new model rides on all-black 17-inch alloy wheels. The Indian automotive giant is offering a Rally kit for the Xpulse at an extra cost of Rs 38,000. Its accessories include Maxxis off-road tyres, a taller seat, handlebar risers, bigger footrests, longer travel and an adjustable suspension system.
2021 Hero Xplulse 200T is powered by a BS6-compliant 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. The new bike delivers 18.1bhp of maximum power output and 16.15Nm of peak torque. The engine is equipped with advanced programmed fuel injection and XSens technology. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 5-speed gearbox. Braking responsibilities are handled by 276mm upfront and 220mm rear disc brakes. The adventure bike comes equipped with a single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) as a standard offering. The suspension system here comprises of a telescopic and a 10-step adjustable monoshock unit up front and towards rear wheel respectively.
