The dealer dispatch of the sedan has also begun in the country

Honda Cars India has commenced the series production of the upcoming Amaze facelift at its manufacturing facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan. The company also informed that dealer dispatch of the sedan has also begun. The 2021 Honda Amaze facelift will be launched on August 18, 2021 in the Indian market. It will rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki DZire, Tata Tigor, Ford Aspire and Hyundai Aura in India. The 2021 Honda Amaze facelift price is expected to be higher than the current model due to the updated design and new features.

Recently, the 2021 Honda Amaze Facelift was spotted undisguised at a company stockyard. The updates are strictly cosmetic in nature at the outside as well as inside the cabin. Speaking about the developments, Mr. Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President & Director, Sales and Marketing Honda Cars India Limited said, “After the successful ramp-up at our manufacturing plant streamlining supplies for all models, we have begun the mass production and despatches of New Amaze to ensure availability of cars across network from the time of launch. We are confident, the new Amaze with its more premium & sophisticated offering will appeal to our customers and be the perfect choice for their families.”

Mechanically, the 2021 Honda Amaze facelift will remain identical to the ongoing model. It will carry the same 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine and the 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine with both manual and CVT gearbox options. Presently in its second generation, the Amaze is Honda's highest selling model. The 2021 Amaze facelift bookings have started online at ‘Honda from Home’ digital platform at a token amount of Rs 5,000 while it can also be booked at the dealerships by paying Rs 21,000. The deliveries of the sedan are expected to start from the day of launch in the country. The test drives have already begun at Honda dealerships as demo vehicles have already reached company showrooms.
