Hyundai Motor India recently launched the Tucson Facelift in the country. Now the Korean automaker has revealed the next-generation of this premium SUV. The SUV will most likely be launched in India during 2021. The company had earlier released a teaser of what its exterior design could look like however now they have showcased the product in actuality.

As per the global reveal, the new 2021 Tucson gets a very aggressive outlook. The SUV features Hyundai’s signature headlamp architecture. The DRLs are directly integrated into the trapezoidal grille. The jewel-like grille design uses Hyundai’s signature parametric hidden light technology. At the rear, it gets new tail-lamps that are connected to the horizontal LED light bar at the top. Furthermore, we can expect the SUV to get 19-inch alloy wheels. In terms of dimensions, this new Tucson is bigger and wider than its previous generation. These include a 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation system integrated into a shiny black waterfall centre stack. The main highlight is the 64-ambient lighting system. Also, the interior design theme of the SUV is termed as ‘Interspace’ due to the presence of a fully-digital instrument console. Then there are other features as well that includes automatic climate control, air purifiers, and ventilated front seats.

Its powertrain details have not been disclosed yet by the company. However, it will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel trims in India. As for the price, we can expect the new 2021 Hyundai Tucson to be slightly costlier than the current model. However, the pre-lifted version of the SUV recently launched in India is priced at Rs 22.30 lakhs (ex-showroom).
