Mercedes Benz have been working on the New-Generation S-Class since quite sometime now. The test mules covered in heavy camouflage have also been spotted a number of times. The car is slated for a launch in December 2020 in the Indian market. Deliveries are expected to likely begin in January 2021. Recently, images of the Next-Generation S-Class were leaked online. An instagram account offers images of the New Mercedes Benz S-Class revealing a lot more interior and exterior details.
According to these leaked images, the front fascia of the Next-Generation Mercedes Benz S-Class features LED headlamps and DRLs along with a chrome grille. The premium saloon also gets a new front bumper with a chrome strip. At the rear end, it gets triangular tail lights similar to the one found on the Mercedes Benz E-Class Facelift. It also gets sharper tail lamps along with chrome strips that run across the width of the car. The bumper at the rear end houses two chrome exhaust tips.
In terms of interior features, the Next-Generation Mercedes Benz S-Class features a redesigned dashboard with gloss finish and a 3-spoke multi-functional flat-bottom steering wheel. At the front, there are two digital displays - an instrument cluster for the driver and an infotainment system that will run Mercedes's MBUX system. The cabin boasts of redesigned AC vents and quilted seats. It gets two entertainment screens positioned at the back of the headrest one either side of the front row of seats . The centre console houses the rear AC vents along with haptic touch controls below it. The B-Pillar also gets AC vents.
