2021 Renault Triber gets an updated feature list and dual-tone color options

2021 Renault Triber has been launched in the country. The MPV is priced in the range of Rs 5.30-7.82 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The new upgrades have come at a premium of up to Rs 15,000.

The French automaker has introduced new dual-tone color options but it is limited only to the top-spec RXZ trim. In this context, a new Cedar Brown shade has been introduced that replaces the now-discontinued Red color shade on the Triber. The new RXZ dual-tone variants are Rs 17000 pricier than the mono-tone trims. With this, 2021 Renault Triber is now offered in a total of five color options - Metal Mustard, Electric Blue, Moonlight Silver, Ice Cool White, and the new Cedar Brown.

In terms of design, the 2021 Renault Triber gets ORVM-mounted LED turn indicators and steering mounted audio & calling controls. These features are offered from RXT trim onwards. The height-adjustable driver’s seat is limited to RXZ trim while the dual-horn setup is offered on all trims as standard. The rest of the features such as the projector headlamps with LED DRLs, 14-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit integrated with Apple car Play & Android Auto, LED instrument cluster, passive keyless entry, and a rear parking camera have been retained. The safety kit also remains the same, comprising dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.

Under the hood, no changes have been made. The 2021 Renault Triber continues to be powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 71 bhp power and 96 Nm torque. The engine is further linked to a five-speed manual gearbox along with a 5-speed AMT gearbox as an option.
