The company will launch its all-new MPV in the first quarter of 2018. Codenamed U321, this seven-seat MPV will feature a sloping bonnet, large headlights with projectors and Mahindra’s toothy seven-slat grille, up front. You can also expect the car to be fitted with LED daytime-running lights and 16-inch wheels. There will be three rows of seats, with seven and eight-seat options as well. In the spy pictures, the MPV’s dash appears conventional but will be fitted with a large touchscreen.
This will be the first Car to use Mahindra’s new 1.6-litre diesel engine, which will be developed in collaboration with SsangYong. This mFalcon engine, which makes 130hp in the new MPV, will make its way to other Mahindras as well.
Mahindra is expected to price its new MPV in the ₹10-15 lakh band.
