2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is all set to make its global debut on February 5 this year.

Suzuki Hayabusa will be making its global debut on February 5. Ahead of the world premiere, Suzuki has released a teaser video on its official YouTube handle. The video gives us a short glimpse of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa. The bike is seen zooming past the camera on a banked test track. Usually, this type of track is used to test a vehicle’s high-speed stability.

Official details about the motorcycle have not been revealed yet. However, from the teaser video, we could make out that the motorcycle is none other than the Hayabusa. The core character of the previous generation model’s design has been retained. We can expect the bike to get a long wheelbase and an imposing front fairing. We could also clearly see that the bike retains the traditional analogue speedometer and tachometer. The analogue speedometer is seen indicating a speed of 288 kmph. It further incorporates a TFT display in the instrument panel. The TFT screen has SDMS lettering on it which stands for Suzuki Drive Mode Selector. This hints that the motorcycle might get multiple riding modes.

Performance-wise, the engine specification is also expected to be retained from the previous generation model, but the motor’s displacement is likely to be increased to around 1440cc. By increasing the displacement, the company aims to comply with the latest emission norms. Furthermore, 2021 Hayabusa is expected to come with IMU supported cornering ABS and traction control. The top-end variant might also offer an active suspension as an option. The previous generation Hayabusa was one of the most expensive motorcycles to be locally assembled in India. We can expect the new generation model to be launched in the country anytime soon after its international debut.
