Tata Motors unveiled the all-new Tigor EV in the Indian market. Bookings for the electric sedan commences from today onwards. Interested buyers can book the vehicle at a token amount of Rs 21,000 at select dealerships. It will be launched anytime soon in the country. Moving on, the electric vehicle is based on three key product pillars namely technology, comfort, and safety.
2021 Tata Tigor EV: Features
The electric sedan boasts a silent cabin and spacious interiors with ample headroom and legroom for comfortable seating. Feature-wise, the Tigor EV comes equipped with a 7-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment unit with 4 speakers & 4 tweeters, a height-adjustable driver seat, smart key with push-button start, portable charging cable, and electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs. Besides this, the connected car suite - iRA, is offered with 30+ features that include intrusion alert, charging status, remote commands, remote diagnostics, remote cooling, and time to full charge. The new Tigor EV comes with a boot space of 316 litres which can further be expanded to 375 litres. The safety kit comprises dual airbags, corner stability control, ABS with EBD, hill ascent assist, and hill descent assist. The homegrown automaker will also provide a tyre puncture kit to all Tigor EV owners.

2021 Tata Tigor EV: Engine Specification
Performance-wise, the electric sedan is powered by a 26 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The vehicle delivers a top power of 55 kW and a peak torque of 170 Nm. Moving on, the new Tigor EV can do a sprint from 0-60 kmph in 5.7 seconds. The battery pack is IP67 rated. It further comes with an 8 year and 160,000 KM battery and motor warranty.
2021 Tata Tigor EV: Charging Details
The 2021 Tigor EV can be charged from 0-80 percent in around 1 hour using a fast charger. While using a regular charger, the battery can be charged from any 15 A plug point in 8.5 hours. The impact-resistant battery pack casing of the electric sedan complies with AIS – 048 standards for nail penetration at Cell Level.
