The new Royal Enfield 650cc bikes will go on sale in Europe in April 2018 first.

The company showed its two new 650cc parallel-twin engine motorcycles at this year’s 2017 Rider Mania event in Goa. While the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 had debuted earlier in November at the 2017 EICMA event in Milan, this is the first time these bikes have been displayed on Indian soil.

Rider Mania is a three-day annual event that sees riding enthusiasts from all over India, gathered to take part in interactive events. These include dirt track racing, assembly wars and live music performances.

Royal Enfield also confirmed its roll-out plan for the new bikes at the event. The Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 share the same 47hp/52Nm 648cc parallel-twin engine that’s mated to a six-speed gearbox. Once the bikes go on sale in Europe on April 2018, they will make their way to India six months later.
