2022 Audi Q7 Facelift Launched at Rs 79.99 Lakhs

The new SUV is available in two trims namely Premium Plus and Technology

Audi India has launched the 2022 Q7 SUV at a starting price of Rs 79.99 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. Being available in two trims namely Premium Plus and Technology, it is offered only with a petrol engine. The 2022 Audi Q7 facelift comes with a standard warranty of 2 years and 5 years of Road Side Assistance (RSA) in India. Being positioned between the Q5 and Q8, the Q7 will be at loggerheads with the likes of Mercedes Benz GLS, BMW X5, Volvo XC90 and Range Rover Sport in the Indian market.

As for styling, the 2022 Audi Q7 facelift flaunts a new front bumper with 3d effect while the single-frame grille is wider than before with vertical slats. It gets Matrix LED headlamps with signature daytime running lights and LED tail lamps with dynamic turn indicators as standard. Riding on 19-inch 5-arm star style design alloy wheels, the 2022 Q7 facelift can be availed in five exterior colors namely Carrara White, Mythos Black, Navarra Blue, Samurai Grey and Floret Silver. On the other hand, the cabin is presented in two themes in the form of Saiga Beige and Okapi Brown. Audi has equipped the SUV with a driver oriented wraparound virtual cockpit design which comes with a new digital operating concept.

Some of the notable features in the new SUV include Panoramic Sunroof, High gloss styling package, Adaptive Windshield Wipers with integrated washer nozzles, Ambient Lighting Package Plus (customizable with 30 colors each for surface and contour lighting), 8.6-inch Remote MMI touch control panel for 4-Zone air conditioner with Air Ionizer, 10.1-inch MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch Response, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 730W B&O Premium 3D sound system with 19-speakers, Powered front seats with driver-side memory function, Comfort key with sensor-based boot lid operation, Cruise control with speed limiter, 8 Airbags, Park Assist Plus with 360° 3D surround camera and Lane Departure Warning with Steering Assist.

It has introduced a myriad of accessories with the new Q7 through Audi Genuine which includes Audi Entertainment Mobile (Rear Seat Entertainment screens). Mechanically, the 2022 Audi Q7 is powered by a 3.0L V6 TFSI petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system which develops top power of 340 bhp and peak torque of 500 Nm. The 48V electric system provides adequate power to the Belt Alternator Starter (BAS) while enabling the engine to be turned off for up to 40 seconds when coasting. The BAS automatically restarts the vehicle as per the system demands. The SUV does a 0-100kmph sprint in merely 5.9 seconds while clocking a top speed of 250kmph. The quattro all-wheel drive system, Adaptive Air Suspension and Audi Drive Select with seven drive modes (Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency, Off-Road, All-Road and Individual) come as standard fitment.
