2022 BMW X3 Launched at Rs 59.90 Lakhs

It is available in two petrol variants namely xDrive30i SportX Plus and xDrive30i M Sport

BMW India has launched the 2022 X3 SUV at a starting price of Rs 59.90 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. Being offered in locally produced two petrol variants namely xDrive30i SportX Plus and xDrive30i M Sport, the 2022 BMW X3 is now available at the company authorized dealerships from today. The German luxury brand will introduce the diesel variants at a later stage in the Indian market. BMW X3 competes with the likes of Mercedes Benz GLC, Audi Q5, Land Rover Discovery Sport and Volvo XC60 in India.




The 2022 BMW X3 is available in six color schemes namely Mineral White, Phytonic Blue, Brooklyn Gray, Sophisto Gray, Black Sapphire and Carbon Black. It gets classic X-elements as standard while flaunting a bigger single-frame kidney grille, flatter adaptive LED headlights with Matrix function and new front apron. The full LED tail-lamp cluster features a black border while the narrower light graphic now includes a three-dimensionally modeled pincer contour and horizontal turn signals integrated in filigree style. The exhaust pipes are new and larger than before. The M Sport trim boasts of a front apron with larger air inlets finished in high-gloss black and air curtains. At the rear, the bumper comprises a diffuser finished in Dark Shadow.




The company is offering 19-inch Y-Spoke alloy wheels with the SUV. However, buyers can also avail 20-inch M alloy wheels as an early bird offer. The cabin is finished in a sensatec perforated dual tone canberra beige and cognac upholstery. Some of the standard features in the SUV include Multi-function Sport Steering Wheel, electrical seat adjustment with memory function, Panoramic glass roof, Welcome Light Carpet, Ambient Lighting with six dimmable modes, 3-zone automatic climate control, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, BMW Gesture Control, Cruise control with braking function, 464W Harman Kardon Surround Sound system with 16 speakers, Parking Assistant Plus with 360 camera and BMW Operating System 7.0 with 3D Navigation, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.




As for the M Sport variant, it is equipped with Sport seats, M leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons and M interior trim. The 2022 BMW X3 boot capacity is rated as 550 litres which can be expanded further to 1600 litres by folding down the 40/20/40 split rear seat backrest. The safety features onboard are six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, Electronically controlled ‘Automatic Differential Brakes/Locks’ (ADB-X), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Hill Descent Control (HDC), electronic vehicle immobilizer & crash sensor and ISOFIX child seat mounting.




It also comes with optional BMW Repair Inclusive that extends warranty benefits from third year of operation to maximum sixth year, after the completion of the standard two-year warranty period. The 2022 BMW X3 is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder petrol engine which will generate top power of 248 bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm. The engine is linked to an 8-speed automatic Steptronic sport transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters and BMW xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The SUV does a 0-100kmph sprint in merely 6.6 seconds with a top speed of 235 kmph. It gets four drive modes in the form of Comfort, Eco Pro, Sport and Sport+. BMW India Financial Services is offering a BMW 360˚ financial plan for the 2022 X3 with ‘drive away monthly price’ of Rs 79,999, assured buyback of up to 60 percent and flexible end of term options.
