2022 Kia Seltos and Sonet Launched in India

Both the SUVs receive cosmetic updates, new color schemes and additional features

Kia India has launched the 2022 Seltos and Sonet at starting prices of Rs 10.19 Lakhs and Rs 7.15 Lakhs (Both the prices are Ex. Showroom, India), respectively in the country. Both the SUVs receive cosmetic updates, new color schemes and additional features while retaining the same set of petrol and diesel engines. Moreover, several existing features from the higher variants have been extended to lower variants. The company has made 4 airbags, which includes side airbags, standard across all lower variants of the Seltos and Sonet.

2022 Kia Seltos

The 2022 Kia Seltos will be available in 19 variants in a price range of Rs 10.19-18.45 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India). It has been updated with 13 new enhancements which include the first-in-India Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) technology with the 1.5L diesel engine on the HTK+ variant. In addition, a new variant HTX AT has been introduced with the 1.5L diesel engine. The design updates include the new Kia logo on the D-cut steering wheel, SUS scuff plate and tailgate. The X Line variant will now flaunt X Line Logo on Indigo Pera Seats.


Paddle shifters along with multi-drive and traction modes have been made standard across the entire range of automatic variants. Other notable features added to the 2022 Kia Seltos range are Side Airbag, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Assist Control (HAC), Highline Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (Highline TPMS) and All-Wheel Disc brakes. The HTX+ variant of the vehicle also boasts of curtain airbags.
