2022 Mercedes Benz C-Class Launched at Rs 55 Lakhs

Mercedes Benz India has launched the 2022 C-Class at a starting price of Rs 55 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being introduced with one petrol and two diesel engines in a total of three trims namely C 200, C 220 d and C 300d, it has already bagged 1000+ confirmed bookings even before going on sale which is the highest ever for a single company model in India. The 2022 Mercedes Benz C-Class waiting period has gone upto 2-3 months while the fifth-generation (W206) sedan is the most advanced C-Class ever to be launched in the Indian market.


The 2022 Mercedes Benz C-Class comes with a longer wheelbase which translates into more legroom, headroom, shoulder and elbow room for rear passengers. It is available in three paint schemes namely Obsidian Black, MANUFAKTUR Opalite White Bright and Cavansite Blue. In addition, the C 200 and C 220d variants can also be availed in three more colors in the form of Mojave Silver, High-Tech Silver and Selenite Grey. Based on MB’s design philosophy of 'Sensual Purity', the sedan rides on 17-inch black-colored light-alloy wheels. The range-topping C 300d variant is equipped with 18-inch black-colored AMG light-alloy wheels and Digital Lights as standard features.


The C 200 and C 220d variants get Black open-pore aluminum lines wood trim while the top-end C 300d boasts of Metal-weave trim. Being dubbed as 'baby S-Class', it comes loaded with a plethora of bells and whistles in the form of latest generation MBUX NTG7 with "Hey Mercedes" powered by AI, Dual-zone THERMATIC automatic climate control, Premium plus Ambient Lighting, Panoramic sliding sunroof, Extensive personalization & biometric authentication, Wireless smartphone integration with Over the air (OTA) updates, Hi-resolution 11.9-inch central display with LCD Touchscreen, Car-to-X communication technology with cloud connectivity and 5 different hazard warnings for Rains, Skidding, General Warning, Accident and Winds.
