Skoda India has launched the 2022 Kodiaq facelift at a starting price of Rs 34.99 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being offered in three trims namely Style, Sportline and Laurin & Klement, it has been re-launched in the Indian market after a gap of two years. The 2022 Skoda Kodiaq bookings have already started in India while deliveries are expected to commence in the next few days. The European brand had discontinued the Kodiaq in 2020 due to the implementation of the BS6 emission norms.
Being a mid-cycle facelift, the SUV doesn't get substantial cosmetic updates as most of them have been carried over from the global-spec model of the Kodiaq which made its world premiere last year. The front fascia features prominent changes in the form of grille, headlamps, LED DRLs, bonnet and bumper. The side profile has been retained from the previous model, except for the newly designed alloy wheels. The rear end boasts of a handful of updates such as the tweaked bumper and LED tail lamp cluster. The cabin is also identical to the outgoing model with basic layout and dashboard design more or less the same. The biggest inclusion in the 7-seater SUV is of the new two-spoke steering wheel which we have seen with most new Skoda models such as Superb, Octavia and Kushaq.

Under the bonnet, it has a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged TSI petrol engine which develops maximum power of 190 bhp and peak torque of 320 Nm.
