Volvo is all set to reveal the EM90 on 12th of November.

Volvo Cars, a Swedish car manufacturer has offered further information regarding the interior specs of its soon-to-be launching 2024 EM90 electric multi-purpose vehicle when the model is all set to debut on 12th November. The most recent updates shed light on the comfort feature of the forthcoming MPV with the brand having earlier called this upcoming variant a “Scandinavian living room on the move.”

The second row appears to have received special attention, as Volvo revealed that the MPV will have customized lounge-style seats with "zero-gravity cushions" that are more than 120 mm thick. A touch screen located on the armrest controls the massage, heating, and ventilation features of the seats. There are also built-in cupholders and tables. Long-sliding second-row seats and sliding rear doors make it simple to reach the third row.

In addition, the EM90 has a sizable panoramic sunroof and a number of adjustable ambient lighting settings. Particular interior design elements include backlit birch wood finishes on the doors, dashboard, and backs of the front seats, as well as a gear shifter adorned with Orrefors crystal material. Inspiration for the upholstery and patterns comes from Asian and Scandinavian art.

Although the EM90 is anticipated to share mechanical similarities with its sister brand Geely's Zeekr 009, Volvo intends to set itself apart with its distinctive comfort-focused appointments and decor inside. Similar to the Zeekr 009, the EM90 is anticipated to come with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive powertrain options. There are still unconfirmed technical details.
