We are back with our weekly dose of Auto shots for you! This week we had quite a few launches. Right from Jeep Compass facelift, Triumph Triple Street 1200 RS to BS6 Benelli TRK 502 and SVM Prana Electric bike. Tata Motors finally unveiled the iconic Safari in the country while KTM globally revealed its Adventure tourer 1290 Super Adventure S. Renault Kiger made its world premiere. Citroen, on the other hand, rolled out the first unit of C5 Aircross at a plant in India.
2021 Tata Safari Officially Unveiled
Tata Motors has finally unveiled the legendary Safari in the Indian market. The SUV will be launched in February. It is offered in a total of six variants namely XE, XM, XT, XZ, XT+, XZ+. Furthermore, it will be available with two seating configurations: 6 and 7 seater. Cosmetically, the new Safari is quite similar to the Tata Harrier that is currently on sale in the country. 2021 Jeep Compass facelift launched at Rs 16.99 lakhs
Jeep India has launched the much-awaited Compass facelift at a starting price of Rs 16.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). The SUV is offered in 4 trims namely Sports, Longitude, Limited, and Model ‘S’. The Compass facelift retains the same silhouette as its predecessor. However, it does get subtle changes. Under the bonnet, it is offered with two engine options - A 1.4-litre multi air turbo petrol engine and a 2.0-litre multijet turbo diesel engine. Read More
2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S globally revealed
The new KTM 1290 Super Adventure S has been globally unveiled. will be available at KTM dealers internationally (excluding North America) from March 2021. As per KTM, the new bike is the sportiest and most technologically advanced Adventure bike to come of its production line so far. Mechanically, it is powered by a Euro 5 / BS6 compliant 1,301cc V-twin engine that delivers 160 bhp of maximum power output and 138 Nm of peak torque. Read More
Triumph Triple Street 1200 RS launched at Rs 16.95 lakhs
Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the new Triple Street 1200 RS today at a price point of Rs 16.95 lakhs (ex-showroom) in the country. Bookings can be done at an initial amount of Rs 1 lakhs. The new motorcycle will be available in limited numbers only across the country. Mechanically, it is powered by an all-new 1160cc triple engine that delivers 178 bhp power and 125 Nm peak torque. BS6 Benelli TRK 502 launched at Rs 4.79 lakhs
Benelli has launched the BS6 TRK 502 at a starting price of Rs 4.79 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Performance-wise, it is powered by a retuned version of the 500cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine which generates 47bhp power at 8500rpm and 46Nm torque at 6000rpm. Renault Kiger makes World Premiere
Renault Kiger has finally made its world premiere in India before it goes on sale. It will be locally manufactured at the company's facility in Chennai. The production-version is 80 percent similar to the concept that was unveiled in India last year. The SUV will be based on the same architecture as the Triber MPV. SVM Prana Electric Bike Launch Price in India is Rs 1.99 lakh
SVM Prana Electric Bike has been launched in India at a price tag of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in 3 variants namely Class, Grand, and Elite. Furthermore, it is based on a steel double-cradle tube frame having a weight of 165 kgs. It comes equipped with four driving modes namely Practice, Driver, Sports, and Reverse. Read More
Citroen C5 Aircross First Unit Rolled Out in India
Citroen C5 Aircross is all set to make its debut in the country on February 1. Ahead of the official unveiling, Citroen has rolled out the first unit of the SUV from its manufacturing facility in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. The expected starting price is around Rs 30 lakhs (ex-showroom). The SUV will house a 2.0-litre diesel engine under the bonnet. Read More
