Skoda Auto has unveiled the new Enyaq Coupe iV. Having said this, it becomes the second electric model from the brand in the global market. Moving on, the new coupe is likely to go on sale later this year. It is the sporty version of the existing Enyaq SUV. Furthermore, the all-electric coupe is offered in a range of trims namely iV 60, iV 80, iV 80x and the top-end RS iV. It uses the same Volkswagen Group MEB platform.

Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV is based on Volkswagen Group’s MEB modular electric car platform. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle stands at 4653mm in length, 1879mm in width, and 1622mm in height. Design-wise, the front fascia of the coupe gets a similar look as the standard SUV. It further flaunts full-LED Matrix headlights. The long wheelbase gives a sporty look to the car. The rear end boasts of full LED tail lights with crystalline structures. The Skoda Enyaq iV range is offered in metallic Phoenix Orange and metallic Graphite Grey while the Enyaq Coupe RS iV gets the exclusive Mamba Green. Other design bits include large alloy wheels ranging from 19-21 inches, 5.3-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic glass roof and a 13.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Mechanically, the Enyaq Coupe iV is powered by 82kWh (77kWh net) battery which can be fast charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in merely 29 minutes. It is coupled with a single motor at rear axle for the base variant which develops top power of 201 bhp while returning an official range of 545 kms. The top-end variants get twin motors with a power output of 262 bhp while the all-wheel-drive system also comes as standard. The European brand has also introduced a high-performance vRS version of the coupe, which is a first in Skoda's portfolio. Skoda CEO Thomas Schafer said the new model "brings even more emotiveness, sports styling and elegance to the Skoda iV family."
