White-Coloured Mercedes Benz S-Class delivered at the Bollywood Superstar's residence

Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has added a 2020 Mercedes-Benz S-Class to his burgeoning car collection. Affectionately called Big B by the fans and his peers alike, Sr. Bachchan got a white-coloured S-Class delivered to his residence in Mumbai. Mercedes-Benz S-Class bought by Amitabh is reported to be 350d, which is priced around Rs 1.35 Crores (Ex-Showroom, India). The legendary actor added the 350d model to his collection of luxury cars which includes the likes of Mini Cooper S, Range Rover Vogue, Toyota Land Cruiser and Rolls Royce Phantom.

The images were captured by the popular shutterbug Viral Bhayani. He posted the images on the popular image-sharing platform Instagram. Amitabh Bachchan recently recovered from the debilitating COVID-19 virus and is currently recuperating at his home. The 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' host is a numerology fan and his preference number 2 is quite famous. Amitabh’s birthday is on October 11 with the sum of digits being two. The photographer also added in the post that the number of the new model adds up-to 11 which coincidentally is his birthday. 

Amitabh Bachchan’s new Mercedes Benz S-Class comes with a powerful 3.0-litre six-cylinder, twin-turbocharged diesel engine. The majestic car delivers 282 bhp of maximum power output and 600 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an automatic gearbox with a top speed of 250kmph.  The S-Class model is known for the comforts that it providers to the occupants. The key highlights include the Airmatic Suspension system, multi-zone automatic AC, fully-digital instrument console and a large touchscreen infotainment system. The luxury appeal is further accentuated by the presence of twin 10.2-inch screens at the rear seats. 

The German luxury automaker is renowned for its safety features and the new S-Class doesn’t disappoint us. The luxury car is equipped with safety features like front, side and curtain airbags, anti-lock braking systems (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), 360-degree camera, active blind spot assist, tyre pressure monitoring system. 

Mercedes-Benz held global premiere of the 2021 S-class today. That new S-Class will come with a new central infotainment system and exquisite quilted leather reclining rear seats. The 2021 Mercedes Benz S-Class is expected to arrive in India in the second half of next year.
