The Ampere Magnus LT e-scooter comes in two variants: the EX and LT.

In a bid to ramp up its sales numbers, the two-wheeler brand Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL) has announced a price reduction on its Ampere electric scooter range by up to INR 10,000. The brand currently sells five electric scooters in India, out of which the Reo Li Plus and Magnus e-scooters have received price cuts. Ampere recently launched the Nexus electric scooter in the domestic market. Interestingly, the price of this new e-scooter remains the same, and it still comes in the introductory price range. The EV maker is aiming to make its electric scooters more affordable to its customers with the new discount offers, contributing to the growth of the EV market in India.

The Ampere Magnus LT e-scooter is now available with a discount of INR 9,000. The electric scooter comes in two variants: the EX and LT. After the price cut, the Magnus EX variant is priced at INR 94,900 (ex-showroom), while the LT trim comes at a price tag of INR 84,900 (ex-showroom). This makes the scooter around INR 10,000 to INR 9,000 cheaper than earlier.

Ampere previously offered the entry-level Reo Li Plus electric scooter at a price of INR 69,900 (ex-showroom). The automaker is now offering a discount of INR 10,000 on this entry-level scooter. In the Indian market, the current price of the Reo Li Plus electric scooter is INR 59,900 (ex-showroom).

The Ampere Reo Li Plus comes equipped with a 1.3-kWh lithium-ion battery set, which provides a claimed range of 70 km on one charge. The scooter has a top speed of 25 kmph. The Magnus EX, on the other hand, draws power from a 1,200-watt electric motor. The e-scooter comes equipped with a 1.68 kW battery set, which enables it to go from 80 to 100 km. It has a top speed of 53 kmph. The Magnus LT has a top speed of 45 kmph and provides a claimed range of 80 km on one charge.

The brand launched its first premium electric scooter, the Ampere Nexus, in April 2023. The electric scooter comes in two variants, the base EX and the top-spec ST, priced at INR 1.10 lakh and 1.20 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.
