Mr. Mahindra even offered a job to the creator of this innovative e-rickshaw in his company.

Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group has a knack of sharing and praising innovations taking place in the automotive industry on his Twitter account. This time around, what caught Mr. Mahindra's sight was a modified version of e-rickshaw to isolate passengers during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Mahindra head honcho even suggested his automobile wing to consider hiring the person who did the modifications to the e-rickshaw for his innovation and creativity. The video of the modified e-rickshaw is widely shared across various social media platforms.

In the video, we can see a man explaining the whole idea in Bengali language while terming it "Corona innovation". What was impressive in the e-rickshaw was the use of plastic and metal sheets to create a separate seat for every passenger. In the times of social distancing, the modified e-rickshaw allows all four passengers to maintain a safe distance from each other. Even the driver is thoroughly separated from the co-passengers via a metal sheet. Anand Mahindra tagged one of his senior executives in the automotive unit and tweeted, "The capabilities of our people to rapidly innovate & adapt to new circumstances never ceases to amaze me. @rajesh664 we need to get him as an advisor to our R&D & product development teams!”
