The teaser shows the model’s new tail-lamp design.

The 2018 Vantage is expected to be revealed later this year and the teaser image shows a full-length rear light strip, similar to the New Porsche 911. The car’s overall design will be inspired by the DB10 used in the James Bond movie Spectre and styling elements from the Vulcan hypercar will also feature.

Under the hood will be a DB11’s AMG-sourced twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 that could put out 500hp. The engine is expected to be mated to either a six-speed manual or dual-clutch automatic transmission. A V12 Vantage is also on the cards, and it will be powered by the same 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged engine found in the DB11. Aston Martin may also introduce a more hardcore AMR-branded track day version soon as well.

The company intends to refresh all its key models, and will even launch the all-new DBX SUV and Lagonda. The electric RapidE was also confirmed earlier this year as a limited-run model that will hit production sometime in 2019.
