Audi India Announces Charging Options for e-tron SUV Buyers

Audi e-tron and e-tron Sportback SUV will be launched on July 22 in India

Audi India has announced a slew of charging options and benefits for all the e-tron SUV buyers. The German luxury car manufacturer is all set to launch Audi e-tron and e-tron Sportback on July 22 in the country. Interested buyers who purchase the SUV will receive two chargers - a 11kW compact charger and an additional wall-box AC charger that can be set up at the customers preferred location. Besides this, Audi India dealerships will be equipped with a 50kW DC fast charger, in a phased manner. The offer does not end here. All the early bird customers will get a chance to avail of complimentary charging at any Audi India dealership that is equipped with the charging facility through 2021. 

Customers can straight away head to ‘myAudi Connect’ app and under the ‘chargers near me’ section, customers will get a ready reference of all the charging stations compatible with the Audi e-tron and e-tron Sportback.

Audi e-tron will be available in two bodystyle options - the standard e-tron SUV and the e-tron Sportback. Performance-wise, it will come with two two electric motors positioned one on the front axle and one on the rear, along with a 95 kWh battery pack. The motor delivers 330 bhp power and 561 Nm peak torque in standard mode. Meanwhile, in sport mode, the power and torque output increase to 396.5 bhp and 664 Nm respectively. Talking about the 95 kWh battery pack, it claims to offer a maximum range of 359-484 km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge.
