Yamaha Tenere 700 launch is rumoured to happen in December 2024 and Yamaha Tenere 700 Extreme version is unveiled. And Yamaha will be selling off this Tenere 700, one of the best off-roader till now in the international market only. And the Extreme variant has only got way better than its original version. And, you can actually guess from its name, that Yamaha 700 Extreme goes way extreme with its features and specifications. Yamaha is setting new records of off-roading with this new addition of Tenere 700 Extreme and is expected to break records of all times in the global market.
Now, if we talk about the specifications of Tenere 700 Extreme, it boasts a plethora of design elements that makes this version optimal for most experienced riders. This motorbike is manufactured to conquer treacherous terrains and numerable obstacles. This 700 Extreme motorbikes is equipped with 20mm extra suspension travel at both front and rear wheels, which allows the bike to easily get through tough terrain with ease. Kashima coating, a grease layer on the fork tubes to minimize friction and maximize durability, further enhances the 43mm front forks. The Extreme model stands out thanks to its unusually high 910mm seat height. Although it will undoubtedly be difficult for shorter riders to sit on it, the crazy 260mm ground clearance makes it the highest in the Tenere 700 lineup.

Furthermore, the Tenere 700 Extreme boasts an aluminum radiator protector, a flat one-piece seat for long-lasting comfort during long rides, and titanium footpegs. And to make it distinct among other Tenere variants, this Extreme version gets an astute cosmetic update sporting an enduro-style front fender that piques its rugged appearance. The motorbike comprises a 5-inch full colour TFT display with a Rally-style layout, complete with navigation features to help riders find their way around tough landscapes.
The motorcycle is powered by a similar 689cc CP2 parallel-twin engine with a cross-plane crankshaft, which is similar to the powerplant utilised in other Tenere 700 variants. This unit is quite famous for its smooth power delivery and robust performance and churns out power output of 72.4 bhp and 68 Nm of peak torque when coupled with a 6-speed gearbox.
Though Yamaha has unveiled this motorbike, it is yet to announce its pricing for the Extreme version which is scheduled for European markets. The company has no plans to bring this Tenere 700 Extreme version to the Indian market, but it is rumoured that the standard Tenere 700 will make its debut in India in 2024.
