Audi Q2 Launching Tomorrow in India

Audi Q2 bookings have already begun at an initial amount of Rs 2 lakh

Audi India is all set to launch the Q2 SUV tomorrow in the country. Bookings for Audi Q2 had started couple days ago. Customers can go ahead and make a booking for this SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 2 lakhs either on the official website or via an authorised Audi India dealer. This entry-level SUV will be the brand’s fifth launch this year in India. It will be sold as a CBU in the domestic market. 




In terms of dimension, the New Audi Q2 is 4191mm in length, 1794mm in width, and 1580mm in height. The SUV offers a wheelbase of 2601mm. Furthermore, it will be based on Volkswagen’s MQB platform. Cosmetically, the Q2 will feature wrap-around LED headlights with LED DRLs upfront. In addition, it will also get a large single-frame grille. Towards the rear, it will provide square-shaped tail-lights and a revised bumper. 




As for the interiors, the SUV will come equipped with a plethora of features. These will include leatherette seats, dual-zone climate control, sunroof, ambient lighting, reverse camera among many others. Safety equipment on-board will comprise of dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, ESP, seat-belt warning system, and a high-speed alert system.

Under the hood, the upcoming Audi Q2 will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that will generate 190 bhp power and 320 Nm torque. This unit will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Furthermore, it will get Audi’s Quattro AWD as standard fitment. The New Audi Q2 is expected to be priced at around Rs 35 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India. Apart from this, Audi India is also offering a ‘Peace of Mind’ introductory offer with the SUV. The offer further includes a 5-year comprehensive service package, a 2+3 year extended warranty, and a 2+3 year roadside assistance.
