Audi has taken the wraps off its latest SUV, the Audi Q7, ahead of its official launch on the market. The German automaker Audi has been testing the concepts of this facelift over the last few months, and now it has revealed a revamped version in Europe. The Audi Q7 SUV will hit the European market in March 2024, and the auto giant will gradually unveil this car in global markets. The new Q7 is available at a starting price of €79,300 (around INR 71.3 lakh) in Europe. The automaker is expected to bring this car to Indian shores sometime later this year or in early 2025.
The outgoing model of the Q7 was first unveiled in 2015 for the model year 2016. In comparison to the current model, the new version of Facelift gets an updated front fascia, more exterior colors, customizable laser headlamps, and more cutting-edge features. Instead of launching a new-generation sports utility vehicle, Audi is offering the Q7 in a second-generation avatar. The Q7 is now available in three new exterior color options: Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red.

The new Q7 comes equipped with a larger single-frame grille brandishing a thick surround with a new pattern that is octagon-themed. The lower fascia gets redesigned with vertical corner vents. The automaker has updated the Matrix HD LED headlamps equipped with the SUV. Even though this looks like the outgoing Q7 model, it comes with laser lights and a customized feature option. The laser headlights provide better visibility with a laser diode for each light. The company claims that this feature is the very first for the new model. The LED daytime running lights of the Q7 also come with a customizable feature. It provides the drivers with four lighting signatures applicable to the LED taillights as well.
The Audi Q7 base trim now comes equipped with aluminum roof rails, 19-inch wheels, a rear-view camera, parking assist plus, and contrast stitching. For the greenhouse panel, the base trim also has nine decorative inlays. Additionally, it has 20- to 22-inch wheel options. Audi has integrated a wide range of technology-driven features into the SUV. It gets new driver-assist features, including several warning signs for the virtual cockpit like distance warning, changing lanes, and more.
Under the hood, the Audi Q7 facelift comes with a 3.0-litre diesel engine available in two tunes: a petrol-powered V6 that churns out 335hp/500hp and a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 mill for the SQ7 variant. The SQ7 also gets a black variant, a chin spoiler, oval-shaped exhaust tips, and a claimed range of 0 to 97 km/h in 4.1 seconds.
Husqvarna is about the enter the Indian market with their first offerings - Svartpilen 250 and the Vitpilen 250. The bikes are based on the KTM 250 model which would hit the market in February 2020.
