Just days before Audi's flagship SUV-the Q8 will be released in India on January 15, 2020, images showing the Vehicle at a dealer function have appeared online. The photos show the side and back of the SUV. Given that the model will be introduced as a full import into India, it is not surprising that there is no visual difference to the Q8 international spec.
Audi said the Q8 will be extremely customizable for India and no two models will look the same in India. The layout spied wears 21-inch rims. In India Audi will be offering rims up to 22-inch. The interior of the SUV will also be available with a whole range of options for color, trimming, and equipment.
In India, Audi will only sell the Q8 in 55 TFSI configuration, which is fitted with a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine and 48V mild-hybrid technology. There is no proposal for India to operate a diesel. The 55 TFSI has a claimed 5.9-second time of 0-100kph. A brief drive in the Q8 55 TFSI has revealed more than adequate performance and dynamics well sorted.
With options adding to the price tag, the Audi Q8 is expected to be priced in the Rs 1.5 crore (estimated, ex-showroom) region. For individualists, Audi will pitch the Q8 as a SUV, and sell the SUV in limited numbers to preserve its exclusiveness. Once the Q7 was the ride of choice for the celebrities and industrialists in India. Audi would like to see the Q8 evoke the same response among swish set in India.
The Nexo comes loaded with advanced features like Level 2 ADAS, connected car technology, dual digital displays, leatherette upholstery, and a 360-degree camera.
