The Indian auto industry is experiencing a shift towards better safety in cars and bikes to meet the upcoming safety norms that will imply from April 2019 onwards. Now Bajaj Auto has updated the Discover 110 with combi-braking system (CBS) and it comes with a price tag of Rs. 53,273/- (ex-showroom). There are no other changes to the bike.
The difference between the price of the Discover 110 CBS and non-CBS version is only Rs. 563/-. Combi Braking System is a more effective braking system that applies both front and rear brakes when the rider engages either of the two brakes which decreases the stopping distance. Bikes over 125cc of capacity will have to be equipped with ABS according to the norms.
There are no other visual or mechanical changes made to the Bajaj Discover 110 apart from the addition of this safety feature by the Indian bike maker. Powering the Bajaj Discover 110 CBS is an air-cooled, single-cylinder, 115.45cc engine that produces a maximum power output of 8.6 BHP with a peak torque output of 9.81 Nm.
