Bajaj Dominar 250 spotted in new Aurora Green and Vine Black colors at a dealership

Bajaj Auto will be introducing new color options for Dominar 250 in the coming weeks. In that context, two new color schemes - Aurora Green and Vine Black, have been spotted at a dealership. These colors are only available at Dominar 400. However, there is no confirmation regarding this development yet. Currently, Bajaj Dominar 250 is sold in two color options - Canyon Red and Charcoal Black.

Besides the updated color palette, there will be no changes on the quarter-litre motorcycle. It will continue to feature an LED headlamp, a digital instrument cluster, AHO (automatic headlamp on), split seat, a twin-barrel exhaust among many others.

Performance-wise, the Dominar 250 will continue to be powered by a 248.8cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power of 26.6 bhp at 8500rpm and a peak torque of 23.5 Nm at 6500rpm. The motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. Suspension duties are handled by upside-down telescopic forks upfront and a mono-shock setup towards the rear. In terms of the brakes, the bike gets a single disc at both the ends. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard.

Recently, the price of Dominar 250 was increased from Rs 1.67 lakh to Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). So we do not expect the bike maker to give a price hike once again for the new color options. Furthermore, Bajaj Dominar 250 rivals the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Forty-two, Mahindra Mojo, and Royal Enfield Bullet 350.
