Spotted at the Bangkok Auto Show, the Bajaj Dominar 400 modified into a Street Scrambler with no mechanical changes

Bike modification is an art in itself with plenty of admirers across the world. Everyone wishes to modify their loved motorcycle according to their perception. Recently, we came across an exciting modification of the Bajaj Dominar 400 in Thailand. Thailand-based motorcycle customizer K- Speed revealed a modified version of  Dominar 400 at the 2020 Bangkok Auto Show. The modified 400cc bike was unveiled at Bajaj Auto’s pavilion during the Auto Show. The modified Bajaj Dominar 400 sports a street scrambler design rather than the sports cruiser look. K-Speed’s customized Dominar 400 named ‘Diablo Cyclops’ is equipped with stock bike components like wheels, fuel tank, suspension system and chassis.

In order to give a street scrambler design, the Diablo Cyclops comes without fenders while adding height to the seat.  The modified Bajaj Dominar might lack the characteristics of a go-anywhere scrambler but it does look aggressive in styling. Form over function is the core idea of the customized bike from Thailand. The two-wheeler comes with an all-black colour theme with some key highlights like single-pod LED headlamp, new switches, knobby tyres, bar-end convex mirrors and custom crash guards with auxiliary lamp. While the seat covers the rear lamps and turn signals.

Mechanically, customized Bajaj Dominar 400 delivers the same power figures as the stock one. Thus the Diablo Cyclops is powered by a 373.3cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine. The engine produces 39.4 bhp of power @ 8,650 rpm and 35Nm of peak torque @ 7,000 rpm. The powertrain is paired to a 6-speed gearbox along with the slipper clutch. Riding wise, the customized motorcycle will give a different experience as compared to the stock due to several modifications undertaken by K-Speed.
