Bajaj Auto India has silently increased the price of its entry-level motorcycle, the Pulsar 150 Neon BS6, in the country. Being priced at Rs 90003 now, Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon BS6 sees a hike in price by Rs 4467 as earlier it was priced at Rs 85,536 (Both the prices are Ex. Showroom, Delhi). Besides the price hike, there are no cosmetic or mechanical updates made to the bike. Additionally, Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise has also witnessed a price hike by Rs 2502 and it now costs Rs 1.19 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi).
Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon BS6 measures 2055mm in length, 755mm in width and 1060mm in height while having a wheelbase of 1320mm. The motorcycle has a decent ground clearance of 165mm with a kerb weight of 144 kgs. The styling is modern with the likes of colour co-ordinated headlamp eyebrows, Pulsar logo on the fuel tank, side panel mesh and rear grab rail. Moreover, the rear cowl flaunts a 3D variant logo while the alloy wheels feature colored decals. The graphics further stretch on to the fuel tank extensions. The suspension duties are helmed by conventional telescopic front forks and 5-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorbers at the rear. As for braking, there is a 240mm disc at front and 130mm drum brake at rear.

Mechanically, the motorcycle is powered by a BS6 compliant 149.5cc single-cylinder twin-valve air-cooled petrol engine which comes equipped with Baja's DTS-i (Digital Twin Spark Ignition) technology. The engine develops a top power of 14bhp at 8000rpm and peak torque of 13.4Nm at 6000rpm, while linked to a 5-speed gearbox. The BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon is available in 3 colour options - Neon Red, Neon Silver and Neon Lime Green. Meanwhile, in other news, Bajaj Auto today released the monthly sales figures for the month of May 2020. The company was able to retail 39,286 units in the domestic market last month as compared to 2 Lakh+ units sold during May 2019 in the country.
