Bajaj has introduced ABS to the Pulsar 220F and the bike is now priced at Rs. 1.05 lakhs (ex-showroom). The difference between the non-ABS version and the updated Pulsar 220 is Rs. 7600/-. The bike gets a single-channel ABS that adds to the safety quotient of the Pulsar 220. Bajaj Auto recently updated the bike with new graphics to make it look fresh amongst the competittion.
The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is quite an old motorcycle but still it is one of the most popular bikes in its segmet. Powering the 220F is a single-cylinder 220cc engine that produces a maximum power output of 20.9 PS at 8500 RPM and 18.5 Nm of peak torque at 7000 RPM. Mated to this engine is a 5-speed transmission.
Bajaj Auto is gradually introducing ABS to their lineup having 125cc+ engines as the government has made it mandatory for all 125cc+ bikes to have ABS before April 2019 to comply with the new safety norms. The updated Bajaj Pulsar 220F ABS bookings have commenced and the deliveries will begin in a few weeks. There are no changes to the bike except for the addition of ABS.
