Benelli 502C will directly rival Kawasaki Vulcan S in the Indian market

Benelli India has launched the 502C cruiser motorcycle at a sticker price of Rs 4.98 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. The bookings for the bike started on July 8 at a token payment of Rs 10,000 both online and at all the company authorized dealerships in the Indian market. Benelli 502C is offered in two paint schemes namely Matte Cognac Red and Matte Black. The deliveries of the new cruiser bike will start from August 2021 across India. It will directly rival Kawasaki Vulcan S in the Indian market.

Benelli 502C Design & Features

The 502C comes with a lot of first-grade styling features in the form of single piece seat, LED lighting and double-barrel stainless steel exhaust pipes. Being based on a steel trellis frame, it also gets wide swept handlebars and forward-set foot pegs. The cruiser is also equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster while having a fuel tank capacity of 21 litres. A dual-channel ABS also comes as a standard feature. The braking duties are helmed by 280mm dual semi-floating discs at the front and a 240mm single disc at the rear. The brand has introduced adjustable mono-shock as rear suspension. The 502C rides on 17-inch wheels at the front as well as the rear.

Benelli 502C Engine

Having a ground clearance of 170mm, Benelli 502C is powered by a BS6 compliant 500cc 4-stroke twin cylinder petrol engine which comes with EFI, DOHC and TLI. This engine delivers top power of 46.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 45 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission. The Italian bikemaker is also offering a 3-Years/Unlimited Kilometres warranty as standard with the 502C in India.
