The company has added to its 300cc portfolio with a new sports-tourer, which it unveiled in China. The Benelli 302 Tourer joins the Benelli 302R and the TNT300 (which are also on sale in India).
The bike has been redesigned to look more like a tourer, there’s a full fairing body and tall windscreen to keep windblast at bay. There’s even a large projector headlamp and fairing-integrated turn indicators. The fuel tank has been redesigned and it can hold more fuel now. The same 300cc twin-cylinder engine as on the Benelli TNT 300 powers this bike. On this bike, the motor makes 34hp and 27.1Nm, while the TNT 300's engine makes 37hp and 25.7Nm.
The Benelli 302 Tourer may or may not make it to India, it’s uncertain right now owing to the recent legal troubles faced by the owners of DSK-Motowheels.
