BMW 3-Series GT Shadow Edition Launched at Rs 42.50 Lakhs

BMW 3-Series GT Shadow Edition will be locally manufactured at the BMW Plant in Chennai while it will be delivered to buyers after a thorough sanitisation process

BMW India has launched the 3 Series GT 'Shadow Edition' at a sticker price of Rs 42.50 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India) in the country. Being available in petrol fuel trim at all the company authorized dealerships from today, it will be locally manufactured at the BMW Plant Chennai. BMW 3-Series Gran Turismo 'Shadow Edition' will be offered in M Sport design scheme while it will be delivered to buyers after a thorough sanitisation process along with handover of all vehicle documents in a sanitised envelope. The deliveries will commence adhering to all the local government directives.

The 3-Series GT Shadow Edition flaunts several black high-gloss finished elements upfront such as the nine-slat kidney grille and LED headlamps. The sedan rides on 18-inch star-spoke alloy wheels in jet black while the tail-lamp cluster and exhaust tailpipe also get black chrome treatment. It is available in four colors: Alpine White, Melbourne Red Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic and Estoril Blue Metallic. The cabin upholstery is available in a choice of two dual-tone and one single-tone colors: Sensatec Black/Red highlight, Black/Sensatec Veneto Beige and Veneto Beige, respectively. BMW 3 Series GT Shadow Edition gets aluminium door sill plates, key with M logo, M sports leather steering wheel, ambient lighting and chrome edging of air vents as standard.

Speaking of the features, the Shadown Edition comes equipped with universal wireless charging, 22.3cm BMW iDrive touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, AUX and USB connectivity, touch functionality based BMW Navigation system Professional with 3D maps, BMW Apps, Park Distance Control (PDC) and Rear View Camera. The safety features include six airbags, ABS with BA, DSC including DTC and CBC, Runflat tyres, and a crash sensor. Under the bonnet, it has the 2.0L 4-cylinder petrol engine which generates maximum power of 248bhp and peak torque of 350Nm. The engine is linked to an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission which comes with paddle shifters. The sedan does a 0-100kmph sprint in merely 6.1 seconds.
