The diesel 6-series Gran Turismo, which is badged the 630d, is now on sale in India. There are two variants on sale - Luxury Line and M Sport, which are priced at Rs 66.50 and Rs 73.70 lakh respectively.
The car is powered by a 3.0-litre, in-line, six-cylinder engine that makes the same 265hp and 620Nm and is mated to an eight-speed automatic that sends power to the rear wheels.
The M Sport trim gets sportier exterior detailing to set it apart from the regular versions. You get features in the 640d like a rear-seat entertainment system with two 10.2-inch screens, BMW’s gesture and voice controlled iDrive infotainment system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen (Apple CarPlay and navigation come as standard), a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, a wireless smartphone charger, four-zone climate control, a digital instrument cluster and 360-degree cameras. The M Sport trim also comes with a head-up display with full colour projection, a soft-close door function and Nappa leather upholstery.
Safety tech includes six airbags, ABS with brake assist, stability and traction control, cornering brake and hill descent control and Isofix child seat mounts.
