Bollywood Singer Shaan Brings Home A Mercedes-Benz EQS Electric Sedan

Bollywood playback singer Shaan bought a new Mercedes-Benz EQS electric sedan. Recently, Mercedes’ dealerships in Mumbai, Autohanger, shared images of the actor and his family taking delivery of the e-sedan. Mercedes-Benz retails the EQS model in the 580 4MATIC trim. The variant is available at a price of INR 1.62 crore (ex-showroom).

The electric sedan comes in a Sodalite Blue color scheme. The Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4MATIC is powered by a 107.8 kWh lithium-ion battery set that offers a certified range of 857 km on one charge. The battery set can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 35 minutes via a 110 kW DC fast charger.

The car has two electric motors that are located on each axle. The unit provides a total power output of 523 bhp and a peak power of 856 nm. In 4.3 seconds, the EV can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph. It has a high speed of 210 kmph. Mercedes-Benz also offers all-wheel drive on this 4MATIC version sedan.

Inside the cabin, the electric sedan gets a 56-inch hyper-screen powered by the MBUX system. The screen integrated in the EV gets a 3D map display, weather details, support for the Mercedes-Me connected car app, a climate control system, and route planning. The EQS 580 4MATIC comes loaded with features like electric seats, a Burmester 3D sound system, ambient lighting, an air filter, and more.

The EQS 580 4MATIC has an aerodynamic design, making it a curvy and flowing sedan. The EQS comes with a drag coefficient of 0.20 and is produced aerodynamically. It has a closed grille that smooths out the airflow, as EVs require less airflow in comparison to the ICE models.
