Tata’s new Tigor is the sedan equivalent of the carmaker’s Tiago hatchback.

Tata is looking to turn the compact sedan market on its head with its brand new Tigor. The Tigor is essentially the sedan equivalent of the Tiago hatchback, so both cars share many features and parts. The Tigor’s boot is neatly integrated and it gives the Tata a purposeful stance. The compact sedan will be competitively priced - Tata will position it below the Zest, which means it will be priced significantly lower than compact sedans like the Maruti Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent, Ford Figo Aspire and Volkswagen Ameo. However, there’s been no word on the price of the car so far.
