Just like the entry-level 100cc motorcycle, the 125cc commuter segment also offers a mix of power, fuel efficiency, and features. Bajaj introduced the Pulsar 125 as its flagship model. On the other hand, Honda launched the SP 125 followed by Hero unveiling the all-new BS6 Glamour this year. While Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon is considered powerful in this lot, Honda has equipped the SP 125 with segment-first features. The BS6 Glamour gets a new chassis and engine, putting it in the same aforementioned motorcycles.

The BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon comes equipped with the most capable engine and is the sportiest amongst the three. But when it comes to features and price, the BS6 Honda SP 125 sets the benchmark. The BS6 Hero Glamour, on the other hand, might be the least powerful in the lot but it is also the most affordable one.

In terms of dimensions, Glamour offers an increased ground clearance than the other two. The Pulsar 125 Neon offers a longer wheelbase thus making it the sportiest amongst the three. It is the only one here to use 17-inch wheels at both ends. While the Glamour and SP 125 comes equipped with 18-inch wheels. 

In terms of brakes, all three motorcycles come with a 240 mm front disc as an option. As for the drum brake variants, the Pulsar 125 features a 170 mm drum while the Glamour and SP 125 offers 130 mm drum brake up front. The rear end of all the three motorcycles feature a 130 mm drum brake. As for suspension, all of them feature a conventional telescopic fork in the front and twin shock absorbers towards the rear.

BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon is considered as the most powerful motorcycle amongst the three but it is Honda SP 125 that sets the benchmark in terms of features. The company has equiped the BS6 SP 125 with a segment-first start-stop switch for better fuel efficiency. It is also the only bike amongst the three to offer an LED headlight and a fully digital instrument console. 

On the other hand, Glamour and Pulsar 125 Neon retain most of the features from their BS4 counterparts. Both the motorcycles come equipped with a halogen headlight unit and semi-digital instrument console. BS6 Glamour also boasts of Hero’s Auto Sail Technology that allows the rider to crawl ahead in traffic without downshifting.

The BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon produces the highest power and torque in the lot. However, there has been an increase in power and torque of the SP 125 after its switch to BS6. On the other hand, Hero Glamour BS6 produces the lowest power and torque in the lot but at the same rpm as the Honda SP 125.

Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon BS6 is available in 3 colors namely Soler Red, Platinum Silver, and Neon Blue. While the Honda offers BS6 SP 125 in four color options Striking Green, Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic. BS6 Hero Glamour, on the other hand, is available in four colors - Radiant Red, Techno Blue, Tornado Grey, and Sports Red.
