BS6 CFMoto 300NK will be priced higher than the older BS4 model whose last known price was Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom), India.

The transition to BS6 era was one of the most talked-about events in the history of Indian automobile. Manufacturers struggled to bring BS6 compliant vehicles to the Indian market. CFMoto was one such manufacturer and it is now finally bringing its first BS6 motorcycle to India. CFMoto announced via its social media channels that it will be launching the BS6 300NK in the domestic market. As of now, the brand has not revealed any details about the bike, but we can expect it to arrive at the dealerships before the end of March 2021. It would be the first of many launches with expectations of 600NM streetfighter, 650 GT-tourer as well as 650 MT adventure tourer in 2021. The BS6 CFMoto 300NK will be priced higher than the older BS4 model whose last known price was Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom), India.

The new BS6 300NK will remain identical to the outdated BS4 model in terms of styling. Expect the new bike to sport LED headlight, muscular fuel tank, underbelly exhaust system, digital instrument console and split seats. To refresh the bike, the Indian buyer could look forward to new paint options as well as body graphics.

CFMoto 300NK will come powered by a BS6 compliant 292.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that was present in the older model. The engine delivered 34 bhp of maximum power output and 20.5Nm of peak torque in its BS4 avatar. The bike's performance figures would go down a bit with the engine undergoing changes to comply with stringent BS6 emission norms. The engine would be paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. There is a chance that the manufacturer could offer a slip and assist clutch to provide a better riding experience.

The Suspension and braking set-up will be carried over from the BS4 model. The suspension system would consist of up-side-down forks in the front and a mono-shock suspension setup towards the rear. Braking duties will be taken care of by twin disc set-up with dual-channel ABS as standard fitment.
