CFMoto is all set to launch its second BS6 compliant product in the Indian market in the form of the 650NK motorcycle. It is being learnt that CFMoto 650NK will go on sale by the end of April 2021 in India. Earlier, the company had introduced the 300NK as its first BS6 motorcycle in the country. The bike will come with minor cosmetic updates while there is no change expected in the engine specs such as power output and torque delivery. The BS6 CFMoto 650NK will be sold through the five company dealerships in India.
As for styling, CFMoto 650NK will be more or less similar to its BS4 counterpart. Though, there could be a few updates in line with the international-spec model. The fuel tank could be stretched further forward to make it appear even more attractive. The rest of the body panels will be identical to the outgoing BS4 model. The BS6 CFMoto NK650 has been designed by Kiska design - the Austrian design house - who was credited with the styling of new-age KTM motorcycles. It is believed that the 2021 650NK could feature a new TFT display while the LCD display, which looks outdated, could go for a toss. The front fascia will retain the dual-tone headlight mask while the split-style seats will also be carried over from the BS4 version.
The suspension duties will be helmed by telescopic forks upfront while there will be a mono-shock unit at the rear. As for brakes, it will be equipped with a single disc at the rear and twin rotors at the front. A dual-channel ABS will be offered as standard safety feature. Mechanically, the 2021 CFMoto 650NK will be powered by the same 649cc liquid cooled engine, albeit in BS6 guise. The power output and torque performance of 61bhp at 9000rpm and 56Nm at 7000rpm, respectively, of the BS4 engine are expected to be retained in the BS6 version of the bike as well. The engine will be linked to a 6-speed transmission. The BS6 CFMoto 650NK price is expected to be around Rs 4-4.50 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).
