Honda Cars India has teased the BS6 compliant Jazz on its website ahead of its official launch. The company discontinued Honda BR-V in India as it makes the BS6 transition. The upcoming hatchback is expected to get some minor design changes apart from updated BS6 petrol and diesel powertrains. Compared to its predecessor, the hatchback is expected to be slightly pricier. Once launched, it will compete against the likes of Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Hyundai i20, and Volkswagen Polo.

The New 2020 Honda Jazz is expected to get a minor facelift. It will offer a good amount of space inside and can seat five in comfort. The cabin of the BS6 Honda Jazz is expected to get some new feature additions. It will boast of new upholstery along with minor changes to the dashboard. The touchpad air-con control as seen in the BS4 model will be replaced with a physical button control unit in the upcoming model.

As for safety, the BS6 hatchback will offer dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear camera with parking sensors, ISOFIX mounts among others. The top trim is expected to get 6 airbags.

Under the hood, the 2020 Honda Jazz will come powered with two engine options. A 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that will produce 89 bhp power and 110 Nm torque. There will also be a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that churns out 98 bhp power output with 200 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties will be carried out by a 5-speed manual unit. The petrol variant of the 2020 Jazz is expected to get a CVT transmission option.
