Jawa has amped up the riding experience with the introduction of new BS6 Classic and Forty Two

Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd has begun the delivery of BS6 Jawa Classic and Jawa forty-two models in India. The deliveries are being handled by the Classic Legends dealership network in the country. Both the models are now available for display, test rides as well as bookings at the authorized dealers. Jawa brand of motorcycles was reintroduced in India in December 2018 by Classic Legends who is owned by Mahindra. Jawa motorcycles are retailed in India by Mahindra through a licensing deal with JAWA Moto.

Jawa Classic and Jawa forty-two are powered by the BS6 compliant 293cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC engine. Both the models come equipped with India’s first cross port technology for increasing the volumetric efficiency of the engine by enabling a better flow of charge and exhaust gases. The use of the cross port technology substantially increases power and torque output.

The engine powering the Jawa Classic and Jawa forty-two is the world’s first single-cylinder engine to use the cross port configuration. Interestingly there is no drop in the power and torque in the BS6 models as compared to the outdated BS4 models. The engine technology helps the Jawa Classic and Jawa forty-two in retaining their unique twin exhaust identity while meeting the new stringent BSVI vehicular emission standards. Classic Legends has made the throttle response in the bikes crisper to react to even the slightest inputs with high accuracy and improving fuelling.

The company has worked extensively on reengineering the seat with the introduction of a new seat pan and cushioning. The riders will enjoy a comfortable riding experience with Jawa models. Apart from the engine and seat design revamp, chrome plating is rigorously tested at two and a half times the industry standard. Jawa and Jawa forty-two will come equipped with the single and dual-channel ABS by Continental. The motorcycles are available with easy finance options for Indian consumers. The customers get the flexibility of paying the EMIs over a time period of two or three years. There are three finance options available at the Jawa dealerships for purchase of Jawa and Jawa Forty-Two models. The buyers can avail 50 percent off on the first 3 EMIs or opt for a special EMI plan @ Rs 5,555 per month. The other scheme is where the buyer can take the EMI plans as low as Rs 8,000 for 2 years or Rs 6,000 for 3 years.
