Dealers are looking at clearing inventory of older 2017 models.
To get rid of older stock of 2017 models, dealers are offering sizable discounts on their models. The size of these discounts makes these models worth a look, despite them being older versions.
You can get up to Rs 10 lakh on the A6 and Rs 8 lakh on the smaller A3 sedan. The next-gen A6 was shown at the 2018 Geneva motor show and will make its way here by early 2019. The A3 sedan competes with the Mercedes CLA.
You can get the 740Li Pure Design Excellence petrol, which costs Rs 1.28 crore, with discounts of Rs 12.5 lakh. The company is also offering discounts worth Rs 9 lakh on the 320d Prestige, which costs Rs 37.8 lakh.
To get rid of stock of the pre-facelift EcoSport, the company is offering up to Rs 1.5 lakh. Prices for the pre-facelift car used to start at Rs 7.76 lakh. There are discounts of up to Rs 1.75 lakh on its Endeavour SUV, which costs Rs 26.02 lakh.
You can get up to Rs 1 lakh off on the pre-facelift and now-discontinued i20 hatchback models that some dealers still have stock of. The new i20 was launched at the 2018 Auto Expo and it will soon feature a CVT automatic in the 1.2-litre petrol model to help the model benefit from duty reductions.
The pre-facelifted version of the S-class costs Rs 1.33 crore and you can get as much as Rs 12 lakh off on the sticker price. The pre-facelift models is fitted with 3.0-litre V6 petrol (333hp) and diesel (258hp) motors.
